The Strokes sjette album «The New Abnormal» slippes 10. april, og følger opp «Comedown Machine» fra 2013.Sammen med annonseringen av det nye albumet slipper The Strokes i dag låten «At The Door», som har fått en animert musikkvideo regissert av Mike Burakoff. Bandet skal også opptre på Øyafestivalen i Oslo 13. august.
The New Abnormal er bandets sjette studioalbum og er tatt opp i Shangri-La Studios i Los Angeles og er produsert av Rick Rubin.
Albumcoveret er malt av Jean-Michel Basquait, Birds on Money.
