Kicking off her hour long concert at this year's Findings Festival with "Alarm" from her 2018 debut album "Speak Your Mind", Anne-Marie instantly grabbed the attention of the entire Bislett Stadium with a high energy performance enhanced by, ironically, a pile of mattresses on stage, upon which she frequently climbed. She has played a series of festivals this summer, including Glastonbury, and did not miss a beat of the music or a step in the stage choreography, where she was accompanied by several dancers. Her voice was clear and crisp, though the sound was too bass heavy in the outdoor space.

A midset highlight was "Ciao Adios", where the energy in the venue stepped up a level. When the crowd cheered at the song's end Anne-Marie amusingly declared, out of breath, "I'm warming up"! She asked "Is this the first time anyone has seen me before" and 90 per cent of the crowd put their hands up. "Oh wow", she responded, "I hope you're enjoying the show" and the crowd roar loudly to show appreciation. Another high point was when Anne-Marie encouraged everyone to sing along to "Rockabye", a Clean Bandit cover, and the whole stadium seemed to know the words.

Bislett then transformed into a rave party as Anne-Marie launched into "Baby Don't Hurt Me", with snippets of Robert Miles’ “Children”, and Corona's "Rhythm of the Night". After posing for a quick crowd photo, it was time for the last song, the hard hitting, unapologetic "Psycho" from her latest album, "UNHEALTHY", which sounds like "Mambo No 5" in places.

"I love you. See you very soon", were Anne-Marie's departing words. It may have been the first time most people in the crowd saw Anne-Marie, but judging by the volume of their cheers and applause, it certainly won't be their last.
