Nordic Music Prize for det beste nordiske album fra 2017 ble delt ut under by:Larm i Oslo i går.

Prisen gikk for tredje år på rad til en norsk artist da Susanne Sundfør vant med albumet Music For People in Trouble. Foran blant annet Björk og Fever Ray.

Juryens begrunnelse:

The jury wanted to reward an album that is both a bold departure for her but confirms a fantastic talent. Stark and beautiful, containing both strong classic songs and experimentation. Of all the shortlist, we felt this is simply best album taken as a whole showcasing an amazing voice.’

Svenske Yung Lean og norske Kim Myhr fikk også hederlig omtale av juryen.

Tidligere vinnere: Jónsi, Goran Kajfes, First Aid Kit, The Knife, Mirel Wagner, Band of Gold og Jenny Hval.
